Job Description
OEM Technical Service Specialist - Construction and Agricultural Equipment Duties and responsibilities Provide dealer service staff and internal staff with technical information and product support ( Agricultural, Construction and Compact equipment) Provide Dealer and Customer support for hydraulic and electrical systems, gas and diesel engines, transmission systems. Provide technical support and advice to dealer technicians, field staff and internal staff by way of phone, email, Dealer Link, and training seminars Maintain Dealer Link system and internal database with the most recent and accurate information received from factories and local vendors Issue service bulletins, field campaigns, technical tips, and technical service Reports Assist with management of warranty claim processing and adjudication from dealer submission to resolution as required Identify potential product concerns, maintain the technical problem log sheet, and issue flash reports Recall and examine equipment/parts, and recommend product improvement ideas to the team as well as to the factories/vendors Organize and conduct school preparation meetings with internal staff Take an active role in the organization and delivery of technical service training Requirements College Diploma or Certified technician, preferred experience working with construction, Heavy equipment, Agricultural or compact equipment 421A or 425a certifications preferred Extensive knowledge and hands on experience with hydraulic and electrical systems, gas and diesel engines, and transmission systems for heavy, construction and / or agricultural equipment Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills Computer skills including MS office applications and Lotus notes Able to work with minimal supervision, and team player Some travel required
