HGV Class 2 Driver - Full TimeWe are seeking a dependable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's team based in the Hatfield area. This full-time position involves daytime deliveries and offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking stable employment with a reputable company that provides outstanding benefits to its full-time staff.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely and punctually deliver goods to a variety of destinations, including stores, residential addresses, and construction sites.Assist with the loading and unloading of the vehicle as required.Carry out routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous manner during client interactions.Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Demonstrate flexibility and dedication to completing assigned routes efficiently and safely.Candidate RequirementsAt least 12 months' recent experience driving an HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.Valid UK Driving Licence, full CPC qualification, and a DIGI tachograph card.Capability to perform manual handling tasks safely.Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanour.No more than six penalty points on licence; endorsements such as DR, DD, or IN are not accepted.Possession of appropriate PPE, including high-visibility clothing and safety boots.Employment Details & RemunerationWorking hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 07:30, totalling 47.5 hours per week; no weekend work.Holiday entitlement: 28 days per year, inclusive of bank holidays.Free on-site parking available.Location: Hatfield.Contract: Permanent, full-time position.If you are interested in this HGV Class 2 Driver role and meet the above criteria, please apply promptly.
