Role: Hire ControllerPay: £14.47Location: SloughHours: Monday- Friday 7:30am - 5:00pmContract: Temp to PermWe're excited to be recruiting for a Hire Controller to join a busy and fast-paced operation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, taking ownership, and working as part of a supportive team. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of tools and/or plant hire equipment.Key Responsibilities:Responding to emails and customer queries along with answering incoming telephone calls.Managing inbound hire and sales enquiries, completing transactions accurately and in a timely mannerProviding a high level of customer service, both over the phone and serving customers at the trade counterCarrying out general administrative dutiesDeveloping strong product knowledge to effectively support customersAbility to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environmentSkills & Experience Required:Proven previous experience in a Customer Service role, ideally handling inbound order or sales enquiriesAbility to successfully complete transactions while ensuring customer satisfactionPrevious experience in the hire or construction industry is essentialStrong communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and build relationshipsConfident using initiative and judgment to make decisions in line with company policies and pricing structuresA collaborative team player with a flexible and adaptable approachStrong organisational skills with excellent attention to detailCommitment to continuous improvement and enhancing service levelsGood computer literacy, including MS Office, with a willingness to learn new systems If you come from a tool or plant hire background and are looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you, apply now!
