Schedule Options:

We are currently hiring a caregiver for a client located in McKinney with the following consistent weekly schedule:

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM & 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  

This position offers a predictable weekly schedule with the opportunity to build a meaningful one-on-one relationship while providing compassionate, consistent care.

Client Overview:

This client is living with dementia and would benefit from a caregiver who is patient, calm, and experienced in dementia care. The ideal caregiver understands the importance of maintaining routines, communicating with compassion, and creating a reassuring environment that helps the client feel safe and comfortable.

Caregivers with experience supporting individuals with memory loss or a willingness to learn dementia-focused caregiving are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Actually Do:

Daily Living & Personal Care

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene

• Provide mobility assistance and support with daily activities

• Monitor and report changes in condition

Homemaking & Environment Support

• Light housekeeping including laundry, dishes, organizing, and tidying

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment

Meal Support & Nutrition

• Prepare simple meals and snacks

• Encourage hydration and healthy eating habits

• Assist with meal reminders and routine support

Reminders & Routine Assistance

• Provide medication reminders

• Help maintain consistent daily routines that support dementia care

Companionship & Emotional Support

• Offer patient, reassuring companionship throughout each visit

• Engage the client in conversation and appropriate activities

• Create a calm, supportive environment that promotes comfort and familiarity

Documentation & Communication

• Complete accurate daily care notes

• Communicate updates with the care coordination team

• Follow care plans and agency policies with professionalism

We're Looking for People Who:

• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

• Can pass a background check and drug screen

• Have previous caregiving experience, especially with dementia clients, or a strong willingness to learn

• Are patient, dependable, compassionate, and professional

• Understand the importance of consistency and routine when caring for individuals with dementia

• Are available for the listed McKinney schedule
