SK Hospitality Group is seeking exceptionally polished, poised, and hospitality-driven Hosts/Hostesses to join the opening team of Bueno and Yamasaki—two distinct, design-forward dining destinations located within a 15,000-square-foot flagship space in the heart of the Financial District, moments from the New York Stock Exchange.
Yamasaki offers a refined Japanese Asian fusion experience, defined by precision, restraint, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Bueno presents a vibrant, elevated Latin-inspired concept, blending high-energy ambiance with sophisticated execution.
We are seeking individuals who understand that hospitality begins at the door. As the first and last impression of the restaurant, the Host/Hostess plays a pivotal role in setting the tone for the entire guest journey—balancing grace, efficiency, and impeccable attention to detail.

The Host/Hostess serves as the steward of the guest arrival experience, orchestrating the flow of service with precision and discretion. This role requires a heightened sense of awareness, emotional intelligence, and the ability to anticipate guest needs before they are expressed.
You will manage reservations, curate seating arrangements, and ensure each guest interaction reflects the highest standard of luxury hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Extend a warm, gracious, and highly polished welcome to all guests, creating an immediate sense of hospitality and refinement
- Manage reservations and guest flow with precision, utilizing reservation platforms to optimize seating while preserving the integrity of the dining experience
- Maintain an accurate and thoughtfully managed waitlist, communicating with clarity and professionalism
- Escort guests to their tables with confidence and elegance, providing a seamless transition into the dining experience
- Collaborate closely with management and service teams to ensure fluid pacing and operational excellence
- Exercise sound judgment in managing guest expectations, special requests, and VIP accommodations
- Maintain the host stand and entrance as immaculate, composed, and aligned with brand standards at all times
- Uphold discretion, professionalism, and composure in all guest interactions, particularly in high-pressure moments
- Support opening and closing procedures with diligence and attention to detail
- Prior experience in a luxury hospitality or fine dining environment preferred
- NYC hospitality experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to engage and connect with guests
- Impeccable presentation, grooming, and professional presence
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask seamlessly
- Calm, composed demeanor with the ability to perform under pressure
- High level of emotional intelligence and situational awareness
- Familiarity with reservation systems such as Resy or OpenTable preferred
- Luxury, high-volume dining and lounge setting
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
- Impeccable grooming and adherence to elevated appearance standards
- Ability to maintain composure, warmth, and precision in a dynamic environment
- Standing and movement for extended periods required
