We are currently seeking a motivated and professional HR Assistant to join our growing team. Full-Time.
The ideal candidate is personable, ethical, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with proven experience in recruiting or human resources support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the HR Manager throughout the full-cycle hiring process
- Source candidates through resume databases, job boards, and professional networks
- Post job openings and create engaging job descriptions
- Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews
- Communicate with candidates via phone and email, maintaining consistent follow-up
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
- Track recruiting metrics and prepare reports
- Assist with employee scheduling and maintaining employee profiles
- Update and maintain accurate HR information systems and records
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR regulations
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in handling all HR matters
- Support a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace environment
- Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HR or recruiting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel) and Adobe
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
- Professional phone and email etiquette
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of sourcing tools and recruitment techniques
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must reside within 30 minutes of Northbrook, Illinois
