Job Description
Our client is a multinational industry company, based in São Paulo/SP. The HR Head Brazil is responsible for leading all HR activities for Brazil employees (corporate and manufacturing based). As a key member of the plant and country leadership teams, this role partners with operations and functional leaders to deliver people strategies aligned with business objectives, company values and Brazilian labor.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the HR strategy for Brazil, supporting manufacturing, commercial and corporate functions
- Partner with plant and country leadership on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness and HR budget
- Ensure compliance with Brazilian labor law, company policies and governance standards
- Ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing, statutory reporting, and audit readiness in accordance with Brazilian labor, tax and social security regulations
- Oversee core HR operations, including employee relations, labor relations, compensation and benefits, payroll, talent and performance management
- Act as the primary interface with labor authorities, unions and external stakeholders
- Manage union and employee committee relationships, including participation in collective bargaining as required
- Oversee complex employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions and terminations, ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation
- Monitor HR metrics, risks and trends, providing insights and recommendations to leadership
- Promote employee engagement, positive industrial relations and a safe, productive workplace
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Administration or related areas
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven experience managing HR as both site and country level
- Strong expertise in Brazilian labor law, payroll and employment regulations
- Broad HR functional knowdledge (C&B, Talent Management, Workforce Planning and others)
- English proficiency is mandatory
