Hagstrom Drilling is growing, and we’re looking for an organised, proactive HR & Recruitment Coordinator to help keep our people pipeline moving.
With significant long-term projects secured and operations continuing to expand, our recruitment and workforce compliance needs are increasing. We’re hiring a HR & Recruitment Coordinator to support high-volume blue-collar recruitment, onboarding, employment documentation and training compliance across our WA operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys recruitment coordination, candidate communication, keeping processes moving, and making sure every detail is followed through properly.
We’re offering 3–4 days per week, with flexibility around school hours, school pickup and family commitments. The role is based in Canning Vale and reports to the HR Manager.

The Role
We are looking for a part-time HR & Recruitment Coordinator to support our HR function, with a strong focus on high-volume recruitment and onboarding for operational roles.
You’ll help coordinate recruitment from vacancy approval through to onboarding, while supporting employment contracts, training records, compliance tracking and workforce readiness.
This is a hands‑on coordination role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with HR, Operations, HSE and external providers to make sure recruitment and onboarding processes run smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
As our HR & Recruitment Coordinator, you’ll support the team by:
Coordinating end‑to‑end recruitment for high‑volume operational roles, including advertising, screening, interviews and candidate communication.
Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of ready‑to‑go candidates to support current and future hiring needs.
Preparing employment offers, contracts, variations and onboarding documentation using approved templates.
Coordinating onboarding, pre‑start requirements and mobilisation readiness so new starters are set up for success.
Maintaining accurate recruitment trackers, employee records and confidential HR documentation.
Tracking licences, tickets, training, inductions and compliance requirements to keep our workforce site‑ready.
Liaising with managers, candidates, agencies and external providers to keep processes moving efficiently.
Supporting continuous improvement of recruitment, onboarding and compliance systems, templates and processes.
