Responsibilities
On-boarding
Setting up new hires
E-Verify
New hire paperwork has been completed and employee file has been set up
Immigration
Benefits Enrollment
Sending initial enrollment materials and answering any questions as it pertains to benefits packages to new hires
Updating all regional employees benefits as necessary (i.e. open enrollment)
Employee Relations
Document Disciplinary Issues
Succession Planning – identify high potential/ high performers
Guide manager on PMP/Career Plan
Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
Assist with safety training documentation, certifications, and compliance tracking
Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures
Training Initiatives
Driving training initiatives in respective region and ensuring completion
Recruitment
Assist recruiters with opening requisitions and managing recruiting process as needed
Provide compensation information for comparable employees and market data for region when requested
Counsel managers on headcount and provide other options to filling roles prior to opening new req
Assist with conducting interviews, working own reqs at time when makes sense
Terminations
Exit Interviews
Access Removal
Benefits Termination
Ensure company property has been returned
Onboarding in project site 2-3 times a week (as needed)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources,Organizational Development, Education, or related disciplines
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Advanced computer skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint required, experience working with Learning Management Systems preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills and project management skills
Experience supporting field employees and project teams
Ability and maturity to work with all levels of the organization
Demonstrates significant problem solving abilities and highly refined analytical skills
Works in a proactive manner and is a self-starter who approaches his/her work with a sense of urgencyMeets deadlines under pressure in short time frames
Can multi-task and thrive in an environment where numerous tasks and projects occur simultaneously, where change is the norm
Ability and self‑confidence to present to and facilitate development and training sessions at all levels of the organization
Positive attitude with a team‑oriented mindset

Compensation: The base salary rate being offered for this position is USD $28.00 to $36.00 an hour. Please note that the salary range listed is specific to the role listed in California. Hourly rates may vary for different individuals in the same role based on various factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, and performance.
Minimum Salary USD $28.00/Yr.
Maximum Salary USD $36.00/Yr.
