The HR Director oversees all human resources and employee personnel matters for Sunrise Park Resort and serves as a member of the management team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Improve employee relations and performance.
- Manage staffing for seasonal and year-round employment.
- Coach and develop leadership.
- Recruit and hire employees.
- Create and revise policies and procedures.
- Enforce safety measures.
- Investigate complaints and incidents.
- Administer employee insurance and benefit plans.

Required Education And Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in business, operations, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Resort or service industry background preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of labor and employment statutes, regulations, laws.
- Experience with multiple business transaction systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Stand and/or walk for several hours at a time and easily move throughout the property in both winter and summer.
- Bend and twist without assistance.
- Hike on uneven terrain, operate and ride ski lifts, and operate ATV or UTV.
- Must be able to work outside in winter or summer conditions (snow, rain, wind, heat).
- Base Elevation: 9,200 feet. Closest towns: Pinetop and Greer, AZ.

Sunrise Park Resort is a wholly owned and operated tribal entity of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and is located in Greer, Arizona. Sunrise is Arizona’s premier mountain resort destination. Elevation – 9,200 feet above sea level.
