Job Description
The Backal Hospitality Group was founded on the commitment to quality and service, and these values resonate with our supportive teams who are instrumental in the operations of our properties. To better service our scaling entities, we are seeking a Human Resources Representative to join our team.
This position will work under the direction of the Vice President of Human Resources and will provide direct support regarding the oversight of a multiunit operation. The Human Resources Representative will be responsible for but not limited to employee onboarding, file management, benefit administration, recruitment efforts, HRIS software facilitation, quarterly audits, compliance standards applicable to both federal and state laws and employee engagement initiatives.
A successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of relative experience based within a hotel and or restaurant, coupled with strong organizational and communication skills/ attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is required. A degree in human resources, hospitality management, or a related field, along with bilingual skills is preferred.
