We are seeking an experienced, people centric, and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support daily human resources operations across our portfolio of restaurants. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, maintains confidentiality, and is passionate about employee experience, recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration. Key Responsibilities This is an important individual contributor role reporting to the Chief People Officer with the following responsibilities: Recruitment, Onboarding and Offboarding Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for hourly and salaried employees Assist with recruiting efforts including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates Support new hire orientation and onboarding paperwork completion Employee Relations Serve as a support resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, scheduling concerns, and workplace issues Support and assist managers with coaching, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance concerns with guidance from Chief People Officer Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and retention programs HR Administration and Compliance Maintain employee records, HR databases, and compliance documentation Maintain employment labor law posters and employee bulletins Support compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including wage and hour regulations Assist with audits, reporting, workers’ compensation claims, leave administration, and policy updates Support with data collection, data metrics, and HR reporting requirements Track certifications, training requirements, and compliance documentation (ServSafe, BASSET, I-9s, etc.) Benefits and Payroll Facilitate and coordinate new hire benefits, life qualifying events and support open enrollment Respond to employee questions regarding policies, benefits and procedures Assist with payroll updates, employee status changes, and HR reporting Training and Development Assist with management training programs and team development initiatives Support performance review processes and career growth opportunities Help implement hospitality-focused training and service culture initiatives Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 2-4 years of HR Coordinator and/or HR Generalist experience; hospitality or restaurant industry experience preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and HRIS systems SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices High level of professionalism and discretion Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information Preferred Skills and Competencies Experience supporting multi-unit restaurant, hotel or hospitality operations Familiarity with onboarding systems, payroll platforms, and applicant tracking systems Bilingual English/Spanish Passion for hospitality and employee engagement Employee relations Recruiting & onboarding HR compliance Team collaboration Problem-solving and adaptability Organizational skills Confidentiality and professionalism Compensation & Benefits Base Salary Range: $62,000-$72,000 commensurate with experience. Health & Wellness: Medical, prescription, dental, vision, health savings account (HSA), employee assistance program (EAP), accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, and pet insurance benefits. The company contributes $350 per month toward employee-only medical coverage and pays 100% of employee-only premiums for the Dental Low Plan and Vision Plan. 401k Program with Match: Company matches $1 for $1 up to $1,000 per calendar year.
