HVAC Chiller Technician

Looking to hire a direct hire HVAC Chiller Technician in the Dallas, TX area!

Serve as a lead and front-line resource to service technicians through technical support and provide guidance and training to other technicians. Perform inspections, testing, repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance of chiller systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trouble-shooting air - cooled chillers, centrifugal chillers, water - cooled chillers.

• Complete service contracts, quote projects and service calls

• Communicate and document project status to project stakeholders.

• Serve as a lead and front-line resource to service technicians through technical support.

• Coordinate the work of subcontractors. Trains and provides guidance to other technicians.

• Purchase materials and issue purchase order numbers to suppliers.

• Safely drive a motor vehicle and trailer, follow requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adhere to all company safety requirements.

• Maintain equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicles.

Qualifications

• EPA Certifications

• 7 years’ experience with centrifugal chiller maintenance and repairs (10 years in the industry)

• Advanced knowledge of service processes, techniques and codes is required.

• Two-year technical degree in a related field is preferred.

• Teardown experience is a plus!

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 AM to 4 PM *Some overtime may be required.

Pay: $35 and up (Pay is commensurate with skills and experience!)
