Job Description
The HVAC Maintenance Technician will primarily service residential HVAC systems, performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal operation. This role involves working within a small team and requires local travel to customer homes. The technician will also handle scheduled emergency shifts to support after-hours needs, providing reliable and efficient service to enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Inspect residential HVAC equipment for proper function and safety
- Perform preventive maintenance to extend system lifespan
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues promptly
- Conduct operational testing to verify system performance
- Interact professionally with customers to explain services and resolve concerns
- Participate in scheduled emergency shifts for after-hours support
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in HVAC maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of residential HVAC systems
