HVAC Piping Engineer

Full time permanent position Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a HVAC Piping Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry in Edmonton, Alberta. engineer required to perform mechanical system design (HVAC and Plumbing). Complete design calculations as required, including heat loss, heat gain, and flow calculations.

Responsibilities

• Follow established design and drafting standards
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment
• Deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
• Reviewing shop drawings and submittals
• Conducting site reviews and field inspections as required

Requirements

• CET or P.Eng
• Experience in mechanical HVAC and piping system design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Knowledge of ASHRAE standards
• Understanding of Alberta Building Code requirements
• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong working relationships
