Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level HVAC Service Technician with experience in commercial and

residential HVAC systems, including refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing HVAC and refrigeration

systems while delivering exceptional customer service. Candidates must have strong

troubleshooting skills, work independently, and ensure all work is completed safely and

efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC and refrigeration

systems.

• Install, service, and troubleshoot air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before they

become major repairs.

• Test electrical components, thermostats, motors, compressors, and refrigeration

controls.

• Recover, handle, and charge refrigerants in accordance with EPA regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly with customers.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of HVAC service experience, including refrigeration.
• EPA Section 608 Certification (Required).
• Experience servicing commercial refrigeration equipment is strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration system issues.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with walk-in coolers, freezers, ice machines, and commercial refrigeration

systems.

• NATE Certification or additional HVAC certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of local HVAC codes and regulations.

Required Certification:

• EPA Section 608 Certification (Mandatory)
