Index Research Analyst

Our client, a leading global hedge fund, is seeking an Index Research Analyst to join their collaborative research team. This role focuses on index rebalancing, combining deep analytical work with data-driven insights across global markets.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate closely with the trading and research teams on index strategies across US, EMEA, and Asia.
• Conduct primary research using company filings and shareholding data to predict index events and rebalances.
• Analyze and interpret index methodologies to identify trends, signals, and opportunities.
• Generate actionable research insights that contribute to the team's overall investment strategies.

What We’re Looking For

• 2-5 years of experience in research or quantitative analysis, ideally within an index rebalancing environment.
• Proven ability to work with company filings, key information documents, and corporate data.
• Strong understanding of equity index methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and programming skills with proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, research-driven mindset.
