Industrial Controls Maintenance Electrician
Location: Kingman, Arizona
What your day looks likeYou start with a walk-through of the plant, checking critical electrical systems and reviewing work orders. A production call comes in—an unplanned stop. You trace the issue through prints and schematics, isolate the fault, and bring equipment safely back online.
The rest of the day blends planned preventive inspections, code-compliant repairs, and collaborating with fellow trades to keep operations moving smoothly.
Your impact- Install, service, and repair industrial electrical equipment and infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot faults quickly to reduce downtime and restore safe, reliable operation.
- Read and apply blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to plan work.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Work to applicable electrical codes and safety regulations at all times.
- Partner with maintenance, production, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Accurately document all maintenance, inspections, and repairs performed.
- Keep current with new technologies and industry best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma/certificate in electrical technology is preferred.
- Hands-on experience as an industrial electrician or in a closely related role.
- Strong command of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and electrical blueprints.
- Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations for industrial environments.
- Excellent troubleshooting ability and meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfort working independently as well as within a team setting.
- An active electrician’s license or certification is a plus.
