Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical maintenance experience and be capable of independently diagnosing and repairing equipment such as hydraulic presses, lathes, milling machines, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and pneumatic systems. While electrical troubleshooting experience is valuable, this role requires a technician who can identify the root cause of machinery failures and perform the necessary repairs to get equipment back in operation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial production equipment and machinery.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Repair and maintain hydraulic presses, lathes, milling machines, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Replace bearings, belts, chains, sprockets, cylinders, valves, motors, and other machine components.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
- Respond to machine breakdowns and complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience working on hydraulic presses, lathes, milling machines, conveyors, and other industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to independently diagnose equipment issues and determine appropriate repairs.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
- Electrical troubleshooting experience is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
