Institutional Sales/Business Development (Asset Management Company) Our client, a well-established Asset Management firm is seeking a driven Institutional Sales professional to grow and manage relationships with institutional clients. The role will focus on fundraising, client coverage, and expanding distribution channels across asset owners and financial intermediaries. Key Responsibilities1.
Client Coverage & Relationship ManagementDevelop and manage relationships with institutional clients including asset managers, insurance companies, banks, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, and pension fundsMaintain regular engagement with clients, providing updates on investment strategies, performance, and market insightsAct as the key point of contact for client queries, servicing needs, and relationship development2. Business Development & FundraisingDrive AUM growth through active client acquisition and fundraising initiativesIdentify new business opportunities and expand distribution channels across target marketsLead client pitches, presentations, and roadshows to promote the firm’s investment products and strategies3. Product & Market StrategyWork closely with investment, product, and marketing teams to position and market investment strategies effectivelyProvide market intelligence and client feedback to support product development and strategic initiativesSupport the launch of new funds and investment products4.
Compliance & GovernanceEnsure all client interactions and activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policiesMaintain proper documentation and reporting for audit and compliance purposes RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field10 - 15 years of experience in institutional sales, business development, or client coverage within asset management, private banking, or financial institutionsStrong network with institutional clients (e.g. asset owners, banks, family offices) is highly preferred
