- Own day-to-day monitoring and follow-up of electrical and instrumentation systems. Troubleshoot issues related to: Medium and high voltage equipment (especially motors and distribution systems). Manage and track: Action items and Incident reports.
- This is a hands-on, high-visibility role tied directly to plant uptime and production reliability.
- Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA) for equipment failures.
- Serve as the main point of contact for electrical issues on major units (e.g., 1300/1400 lines).
- Provide technical direction during complex troubleshooting events.
- This person acts as the go-to electrical SME for critical production issues.
- Drive improvements in equipment reliability and performance.
- Ensure proper maintenance practices and follow-up actions.
- Support long-term reliability programs and system optimization.
- Align work with broader plant goals like: Equipment availability, Cost reduction and Safe operations.
Mentor junior engineers. Provide hands-on training to I&E craftsmen and operations teams.
- A major part of the role is tied to Turnaround (TAR) planning and execution.
- Lead electrical scope for TAR 2027, including: Planning electrical outages, Reviewing work packages and Ensuring scope completeness and accuracy. Oversee and manage contractors during TAR execution.
Partner closely with operations and planners. Not just supporting TAR, they own the electrical scope.
- Review maintenance and TAR work packages to ensure: Technical accuracy and no missing steps or safety gaps. Validate planners’ work before execution.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- BS Electrical Engineering with 10+ years experience.
