We're hiring an International Logistics Support Specialist for our Southeast Houston client! We are looking for an experienced, dependable professional who can interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
- Job Title: International Logistics Support Specialist
- Location: Southeast Houston, TX
- Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hour DOE
- Hours: Part-Time, 20-30 hours per week (Monday-Friday with after-hours availability as needed)
- Duration: Temp-to-Hire
- Description of Duties: Coordinate domestic and international shipments, manage equipment and material transportation, and ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule. Work closely with internal departments, customers, and freight carriers to resolve shipping issues, support inventory movement, and maintain smooth logistics operations. Prepare shipping documentation, monitor freight activity, generate reports, and assist with urgent transportation requests outside of normal business hours when necessary.
- Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of logistics, transportation, or office administration experience, including at least 2 years supporting international import/export activities. Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities with the capacity to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proven problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
