Inventory Control Analyst (Intermediate)
Pay Rate: $35.00 - $43.58/hour on W2
Contract Length: 12 months
Location: Cicero, IL 60804 (Onsite)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview The Inventory Control Analyst is accountable for ensuring inventory accuracy, integrity, and financial reliability across all lubricant blending, packaging, warehousing, receiving, and shipping operations. This role serves as the plant's subject matter expert and steward for inventory controls, inventory accounting, and compliance processes.

Responsibilities
Own and maintain accurate bulk and packaged inventory records for the plant through the verification, review and completion of inventory‑related transactions accurately and on time in SAP and related systems.
Serve as the primary inventory focal point for the plant.
Analyze inventory gains, losses, and variances to identify root causes, trends, and corrective actions.
Coordinate inventory movement activities and bookings with plant and related remote teams.
Ensure compliance with all inventory‑related controls, standards, and management systems.
Update, maintain & adhere to inventory‑related work instructions and job aids.
Support the execution and reconciliation of the site’s regulatory inventory verification activities, including bulk and package inventory cycle counting.
Facilitate and coordinate the site’s bulk inventory cycle counts, supporting investigations and reconciliation inventory effort as needed.
Support and troubleshoot plant inventory systems and interfaces, including SAP and connected plant systems transaction processing.
Maintain awareness of inventory‑related workflows, interfaces, and reporting requirements to ensure accurate and timely inventory accounting.
Provide inventory analysis, reporting, and decision‑support information to plant leadership and stakeholders.
Drive sustainable solutions that enhance inventory accuracy, control effectiveness, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related desired.
5‑10 years experience in Inventory Management.
Knowledge in SAP Materials Management and Order to Cash functions desired.
Excellent problem‑solving and data analytics skills.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Tools, including reporting and data validation.
Confident self-starter with comprehensive communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a virtual, multi‑cultural team environment.
