Job Description
The ISO 9001 / Quality Lead will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and internal quality requirements. This position will manage procedure and document control, coordinate internal audits, oversee internal and external calibration activities, and maintain accurate records of corrective and preventive actions. The Quality Lead will also monitor and analyze yarn and fabric quality trends to identify recurring issues, opportunities for improvement, and potential process deficiencies.
This role will prepare weekly quality reports, communicate and present findings to management and production teams, and work closely with operations to implement effective corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working across departments to promote a strong culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: Associate
Responsibilities
Maintain and control QMS documentation, including procedures, work instructions, forms, records, revisions, approvals, and document distribution in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
Coordinate and oversee internal ISO 9001/QMS audits, including developing audit schedules, coordinating with department personnel, documenting findings, and following up on corrective actions.
Oversee internal and external calibration activities for inspection, testing, and measurement equipment, ensuring calibration schedules are maintained and records are accurate and up to date.
Track and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) by monitoring open actions, coordinating with responsible departments, verifying completion, and ensuring effective resolution of identified issues.
Analyze yarn and fabric quality trends by reviewing quality data, identifying recurring defects or process issues, and working with production teams to implement improvements and reduce quality-related problems.
Prepare and distribute weekly quality reports, summarizing key quality metrics, audit findings, corrective actions, trends, and areas requiring attention or improvement.
Present quality findings and improvement opportunities to management and production teams, providing recommendations and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maintain product quality and compliance with ISO 9001/QMS standards.
