Job Overview:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst in e-commerce to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting e-commerce projects by gathering and analyzing requirements, collaborating with technical teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of e-commerce solutions. You will also provide application support, ensure system stability, and contribute to UI/UX enhancements for our e-commerce platforms.
This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing tasks and responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:1. E-commerce Projects and Change RequestsActively participate in E-commerce related change requests and projectsAssist in gathering and analyzing end-user requirements to ensure alignment with business needsWork with project stakeholders to perform system analysis, design, troubleshooting, and testingManage and track the overall development work and scheduleMonitor change request/project status and prepare project status report for the IT project team lead
- Application Support and MaintenanceProvide application support in post-implementation and maintenance support for existing systemsProvide application support after implementation to ensure system stability and resolve user issuesAssist in the maintenance and support of existing e-commerce systems and their integration with customer engagement and marketing messaging systems, and data platforms
- UI/UXResponsible for the design of the appearance and performance of pages on Ecommerce websites, including UX and UI, functionalities, maintenance, housekeeping, and developmentsWork directly with designers and project managers for the implementation of designsWork with backend developers for integration between frontend and backend systemsWrite reusable and efficient codeAssist/support in the development and maintenance of marketing contentEnsure websites are cross-browser compatibleProvide input on design and technical issuesAssist with various duties related to the project and tasks assigned by supervisor
Requirements:Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalentMinimum 2 years of relevant working experienceKnowledge of E-commerce application development is preferredStrong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret requirementsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentExperience in CMS systems like ContentStack, Salesforce CMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etcExperience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX, XML, and cross-browser techniquesExperience in Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, or other prototyping toolsFamiliar with working with APIs in application developmentFamiliar with Agile and Scrum methodologiesDeep understanding and experience with web and internet standardsWorking knowledge of image optimization and SEO is advantageous
