My client is a world-class global hedge fund with a deeply technology-driven culture, enabling sophisticated trading strategies across global markets. They are expanding expanding the controls to support multiple new markets and is looking to hire a Junior to mid level Java developer with experience on risk to join their Pre-Trade Risk Technology team.

You'll sit with an high-impact engineering team at the heart of global trading infrastructure, to help build and scale a low-latency, high-throughput risk platform that monitors millions of trades in real time across global markets.

Design and build low-latency, high-performance systemsPartner with business stakeholders to implement risk controls & regulatory solutionsOwn your work end-to-end: design → build → deploy → supportContribute to systems handling millions of orders daily

Core Requirements

2+ years of Java development (Unix/Linux)Experience with low latency / high throughput systemsBackground in front-office trading environmentsStrong stakeholder communication skillsKnowledge of equities, fixed income, or other asset classes
