JavaScript Developer – Front End Web Developer (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) – Progressive software house – up to £35k

We are looking for an experienced Front End Web Developer who is a wizard in JavaScript with strong HTML & CSS skills to join our progressive software house. You will work on exciting, industry-specific web and mobile applications and help us develop market‑leading solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web and mobile applications using modern front‑end technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and test‑driven JavaScript (ES6+).
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and back‑end developers to deliver high‑quality UI experiences.
• Work with frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue, and learn new frameworks as needed.
• Implement and consume REST APIs; work with cloud services where applicable.
• Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement of development processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (3+ years) in commercial front‑end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with at least one JS framework (Angular, React, or Vue) and TypeScript.
• Understanding of Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
• Bonus: experience in mobile development (Xamarin, etc.) and cloud services.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
