Join the Open Video Project: QA Automation Engineer (Android/OTT)

Our Open Video project is building a massive OTT platform for one of North America’s leading TV providers, and we need a detail‑oriented QA Automation Engineer to help us deliver a seamless streaming experience!

In this position, you will be the guardian of software quality. You’ll design, maintain, and execute automated test cases that ensure our users enjoy high‑quality content without a hitch. You’ll collaborate closely with our Dev and QA squads to squash bugs and optimize our testing lifecycle.

• Analyze & Define: Review system specs to map out airtight test requirements.
• Automate & Execute: Build and maintain robust automated test cases for thorough validation.
• Track & Resolve: Identify and document defects, working side‑by‑side with developers to fix them.
• Full‑Spectrum Testing: Conduct functional, regression, and performance tests.
• Post‑Release Guard: Perform validation and troubleshooting to ensure post‑launch stability.
• Optimize: Suggest new tools and techniques to make our testing even more efficient.
• Report: Provide clear insights and reports on product reliability.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases to ensure software quality.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills to identify, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Hands‑on experience in testing Android platforms, ensuring functionality and performance.
• Proficiency with version control and CI/CD tools, including Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
• Development experience with Java and test automation frameworks, including Appium, Selenium, and Webdriver.io.
• Knowledge and experience with essential debugging tools, such as Android Studio, Charles Proxy, and ADB logcat.
