Role Overview
The HR Junior Executive will support the day-to-day HR function across HR operations, talent
acquisition, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee engagement. This role is ideal for
candidates with 0–1 years of experience who are looking to build a career in human resources
through hands-on exposure to the employee lifecycle and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment activities including job posting, sourcing profiles, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and candidate coordination.
- Support onboarding processes including document collection, joining formalities, employee record creation, and induction coordination.
- Maintain and update employee records, attendance data, leave details, and HR documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate payroll inputs by compiling attendance, leave, and employee information for internal processing.
- Handle day-to-day employee queries related to HR policies, documentation, onboarding, and basic process clarifications.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, team events, and internal HR communication initiatives.
- Support HR operations through filing, tracker maintenance, policy documentation, and routine administrative tasks.
- Prepare basic HR reports, recruitment trackers, onboarding status updates, and related MIS using Excel or internal systems.
Experience
- 0–1 year of experience in HR, recruitment, HR operations, or a related role.
- Freshers with strong communication, coordination, and administrative skills may also be considered.
Education
- UG: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Commerce,
Management, or a related field.
- PG: MBA/PGDM in HR or a related specialization will be an added advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information responsibly.
- Basic understanding of recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and HR documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word; familiarity with HRMS or ATS platforms is a plus.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills (might be a plus to have)
- Internship or academic project exposure in HR or talent acquisition.
- Familiarity with employee engagement activities and HR operations processes.
- Basic understanding of payroll inputs, attendance management, and HR compliance documentation.
