Overview

We are seeking a Planning & Performance Analyst to join the Finance and Internal Auditing Planning and Performance Management Group. The group oversees comprehensive reporting across various timeframes – weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually – to assess the organization’s overall performance and develop strategic plans and business strategies. As a Planning & Performance Analyst, you will execute, plan, and perform performance management (P&PM) analytical activities, monitor departmental expenditures, analyze variances, correct errors, and consolidate performance inputs from transactions, key performance indicators (KPIs), narrative, risk assessments, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide analytical findings & recommendations relating to P&PM tasks such as business plan preparation, performance tracking and measurement, and performance analysis and accountability reporting.
• Conduct special studies related to development of performance initiatives and business cases, benchmarking, risk management, design and re-design of measurements, processes and workflows, and information system-related changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related disciplines.
• Advanced business degree (e.g., MBA) and/or relevant professional certification (e.g., CMA, CFA, CPA) is preferred.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant working experience in Planning and Performance Management job roles, preferably in the Oil & Gas sector.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of management accounting, finance, PowerPoint and Excel is required.
• Demonstrated capability and track record in the practice of planning & performance management and in the use of business intelligence tools.
