Lead Azure DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Azure DevOps Engineer to drive DevOps strategy, automation, and cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will lead a team, define best practices, and ensure scalable, secure, and efficient CI/CD processes across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Define and enforce DevOps best practices, standards, and governance
• Architect scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / Bicep / ARM
• Drive automation across build, deployment, and monitoring processes
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams
• Lead incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and conduct code reviews
• Ensure security (DevSecOps) and compliance standards are followed

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, AKS, VMs, Storage, Networking)
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools
• Experience with Terraform / ARM Templates / Bicep
• Strong experience with Docker & Kubernetes (AKS)
• Proficiency in PowerShell / Bash / Python scripting
• Strong understanding of Git workflows and branching strategies
• Experience with monitoring & logging (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights)
• Proven experience leading DevOps teams
• Ability to design scalable, highly available, and secure architectures
• Experience in defining DevOps strategy and roadmap
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with Helm, ArgoCD, or GitOps practices
• Knowledge of microservices and container-based architecture
• Familiarity with SonarQube, Nexus, JFrog Artifactory
• Exposure to multi-cloud (AWS/GCP)
• Experience with security tools and compliance frameworks
