Pre-requisition:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in IT consulting, managed services, cloud platforms, or vendor management.
- Proven experience in evaluating and onboarding third-party solutions into enterprise or cloud environments.
- Experience working in sovereign, government, or highly regulated environments is highly preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
- Analytical mindset with structured problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and initiatives concurrently.
Job Description:
Managed Services Development & Onboarding :
- Evaluate, shortlist, and recommend third-party vendor solutions for inclusion in the organisation’s managed services portfolio.
- Lead technical and commercial assessments of vendor offerings, including architecture, security posture, scalability, and compliance with sovereign cloud requirements.
- Work closely with vendors to onboard and integrate solutions into internal platforms and service catalogues/marketplaces.
- Define service design, operational models, and SLAs/OLAs for newly onboarded services.
- Collaborate with internal engineering and platform teams to ensure seamless deployment and interoperability within sovereign private cloud environments.
- Drive standardisation and optimisation of service onboarding frameworks and processes.
Vendor & Service Management :
- Work with Partner Alliance team to establish and maintain strong working relationships with strategic technology vendors and partners.
- Work with Operations and Customer Success teams to plan for and oversee:
- Ongoing service performance, including SLA adherence, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Vendor coordination on patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle management of services.
- Escalation processes and ensure timely resolution of service issues.
- Conduct regular service reviews and performance reporting with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Governance, Risk & Compliance :
- Ensure all managed services comply with applicable government regulations, data sovereignty requirements, and security standards.
- Work with internal security and compliance teams to support audits, risk assessments, and accreditation processes.
- Enforce best practices in secure architecture, data protection, and operational resilience.
Stakeholder Engagement :
- Engage with internal stakeholders (e.g., product owners, architects, operations teams) to align managed services with business needs.
- Provide advisory on emerging technologies, vendor landscape, and cloud service trends.
- Support pre-sales and solutioning efforts where required, including proposal development and technical presentations.
Solution Architecting :
- Work closely with Cloud Architects and cross-domain Architects to develop solutions for sovereign private clouds.
Technical Skill sets:
Deployment Models: Deep knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Cloud Environments: Practical experience managing Private and Hybrid cloud setups.
Service Delivery: Proficiency in platform-based service models and digital marketplaces.
Orchestration: Experience with service orchestration workflows (automating complex IT processes).
API Management: Hands-on ability with API integration and connectivity between systems.
Governance Frameworks: Working knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks.
Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of compliance standards and "Data Sovereignty" (ensuring data is handled according to the laws of the country where it's located).
ITSM: Mastery of IT Service Management principles.
ITIL: Familiarity with the IT Infrastructure Library framework for service delivery and support.
