Key Responsibilit iesArchitecture & Desi gn: Design and build modern data architectures usi ng Medallion Architect ure (Bronze/Silver/Gold) within Microsoft Fabr ic.Data Engineeri ng: Develop complex data pipelines usi ng Data Factory (Dataflows Ge n2) a nd Fabric Notebooks (PySpa r k).Semantic Modeli ng: Build and optimize high-performan ce Semantic Mod els and impleme nt Direct L ake connectivity for seamless Power BI integrati on.Governance & Securi ty: Implement workspace-level security, OneLake shortcuts, and manage capacity settings to ensure cost-efficient performan ce.DataOps & CI/ CD: Lead the integration of Fabric workspaces wi th Git (Azure DevOps/GitH ub) and manage deployment pipelin es.Leadersh ip: Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Microsoft Fabric, providing technical guidance to stakeholders and mentoring a team of data enginee rs. Technical Qualificat ionsCore Experie nce: 10+ years in Data Engineering, with a heavy focus on the Microsoft Azure Data Stack (ADF, Synapse, Databricks, SQL DW).Fabric Expert ise: Hands-on experience w ith OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and KQL Datab a ses.Advanced Query ing: Expert-level proficiency in T-SQL, PySpark, and DAX.Modeling Mast ery: Proven experience in Star Sc hema design and dimensional model ing.Certificat i on: Mandatory DP-700 Certificat ion.
