Job Description
Lead Maximo Analyst – Houston, TX
Contract-to-hire, 6‑month duration, start ASAP. Must currently reside in Houston, TX and be onsite 4 days per week (Monday‑Thursday). Minimal travel required (10%).
Role Overview
Serve as technical lead for a Maximo migration project from version 7.6.1.3 to MAS 9, providing deep technical expertise in Maximo architecture, integrations, automation, and infrastructure while remaining hands‑on with the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Maximo technical administration and support.
- Design and implement integrations using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
- Build integrations between Maximo and external enterprise systems.
- Develop automation scripts from scratch.
- Set up and configure WebSphere servers beyond basic maintenance.
- Perform application development and programming.
- Work with databases (stored procedures, triggers, scripting).
- Create and maintain BIRT reports.
- Interact directly with business stakeholders and communicate technical solutions clearly.
Required Experience/Skills
- Strong technical administration/support experience in Maximo.
- Expertise in Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) architecture and design.
- Proven experience building Maximo integrations with external systems.
- Hands‑on automation script development.
- WebSphere server setup and configuration (not just patching/maintenance).
- Application development/programming skills.
- Experience with databases and scripting (stored procedures, triggers).
- Prior leadership of technical teams/resources.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
- Experience with MAS 9.
- Familiarity with integration platforms (e.g., Boomi).
- Industry experience in transportation, logistics, energy, or asset‑intensive environments.
- BIRT reporting experience.
