Job AccountabilitiesProvide technical support in well surveillance, production planning, production optimization, and non-routine operations of subsea wells and infrastructure. Troubleshoot issues related to subsea production systems and provide timely support to the subsea operations team with methodologies to address identified or anticipated problems.

Conduct technical analyses using Flow Assurance software packages, including but not limited to OLGA, PVT, WellFlo, and PSS, and generate comprehensive reports to present findings effectively. Plan, schedule, conduct, and provide valuable flow assurance inputs to management throughout the field production lifecycle.

• Develop field surveillance strategies for production planning; analyze well behavior, planned interventions, system constraints, and provide production forecast figures.
• Maintain close coordination with reservoir management groups, offshore teams, well operations & flow assurance teams, and gas consumers to obtain required information and update weekly production plans.
• Production Optimization: Evaluate production processes and well performance, and perform studies to maximize recovery over the life of the field. Develop and recommend optimization strategies to improve well productivity and/or reduce downtime.
• Water, condensate, and sand production management in wells: Perform well inflow/outflow modeling and nodal analysis. Evaluate, identify, and troubleshoot liquid loading, hydrate formation, and unloading issues in oil and gas wells. Conduct sand/solid transportation studies for subsea oil and gas pipelines.
• Perform various sensitivity studies using steady-state and transient simulation models to support the design and operation of offshore and onshore facilities. Focus on wells, pipelines, risers, and pressure-boosting equipment using Flow Assurance simulations such as OLGA, PIPESIM, and What-If scenarios, and provide inputs for operational planning strategies.
• Review and recommend improvements to well work-over processes; establish and review standards and best practices for Production Technology.
• Manage, motivate, and develop direct-report employees. Assess the performance of the Production Technology team and advise the HOD on assessment outcomes.
• Define KPIs to monitor production planning, optimization, and recovery from wells.
• Perform simulations in the offline PSS simulator for special operations and clearly document the findings.
• Collect relevant data and prepare reports, presentations, and charts to reflect production status, forecasts, planning activities, and simulation findings. Generate data for monthly and other special reports as required.

Skills & Competencies• In-depth knowledge of reservoir management, well completion, and well operations • Hands-on experience with PSS, OLGA, and other Flow Assurance simulation packages • Strong understanding of deepwater field architecture and subsea production systems • Creativity, innovation, and strong problem-solving skills • Effective communication and presentation skills

Education Required• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering

Experience RequiredMinimum 10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in deepwater subsea oil and gas production, production planning, and flow assurance.
