Job Description
- Perform accuratelegal research and analysis
- Answer telephones andgreet clients
- Prepares legaldocuments, including summonses, complaints, andsubpoenas
- Interpret laws,rulings, and regulations in legal documents
- Set up, organize, andmaintain paper and electronic filing systems in accordance with recognized procedures and standards
- Serves clients andattorneys by developing and monitoring cases anddocumentation
- Daily record keepingwith electronic and hard copy filing of documents
- Create, format,revise and edit legal documents such as wills, deeds, affidavits, complaints, subpoenas andbriefs
- Serves as liaisonwith technical support staff for officeequipment
- Obtain relevantinformation from other organizations or agencies
- Prepare and editcorrespondence, minutes, letters, memos, presentations andspreadsheets
- Develops cases byinterviewing prospective clients and reviewinginformation
- Ensure efficient andeffective administrative information andassistance
- Plan and scheduleappointments, conferences, meetings and travel arrangements forlegal staff
- Maintains contactwith clients and opposing counsel
- Prepare and processexpense reports and reconciliations
- Concludes cases byverifying outstanding balances and preparing settlementdocumentation
- Builds positiveclient relationships through effective communication,establishing trust and maintainingconfidentiality

Salary: $25.13 - $31.36 per hour
