Legal Cashier / Legal Accounts Manager Milton Keynes Full-Time, PermanentAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Cashier / Accounts Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded legal firm based in Milton Keynes.This is a key position within the finance team, offering the chance to take ownership of core cashiering and accounts processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date client and nominal ledgersProcessing banking transactions and cheque paymentsRaising invoices and managing billing processesOpening, maintaining, and closing ledger accounts, ensuring accurate data entryManaging and reconciling client, deposit, bank, and building society accountsEnsuring full compliance with CLC Accounts Rules, audit requirements, and relevant regulationsLiaising with Property Lawyers and internal teams to resolve ledger queriesManaging credit control processes and monitoring aged debtProcessing supplier invoices and direct debitsSupporting the production of management information, budgets, and financial reportsAssisting with ad hoc duties as requiredThe Ideal CandidateProven experience as a Legal Cashier or Legal Accounts professionalStrong working knowledge of CLC Accounts Rules and compliance requirementsExcellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracyConfident communicator, able to liaise effectively with fee earners and stakeholdersWell-organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesProficient in legal accounts systems and Microsoft OfficeWhat's on OfferOpportunity to join a reputable and growing law firmSupportive team environmentRole with genuine responsibility and autonomyCompetitive salary and benefits package (dependent on experience)
