Legal Claims Consultant Toronto Downtown

Join a leading legal team as a full-time Legal Claims Consultant based in Downtown Toronto. You'll manage employment-related claims efficiently and effectively for various legal tribunals.

This position focuses on overseeing legal claims for issues pertaining to the Ministry of Labour, Human Rights Tribunal, and more. You will provide legal guidance, draft documents, and represent clients at hearings. Collaborating with external counsel and supporting the HR Advice Team are also key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage internal legal claims files and provide legal advice • Coordinate intake and assessment of client claims • Gather relevant information from clients for efficient processing • Support the HR Advice Team with legal inquiries • Communicate with various stakeholders throughout claims

Requirements: • Minimum three years' experience in legal claims or paralegal roles • University degree or diploma in Law • Valid P1 License required • Strong communication skills and attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce is an asset
