Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel (French & Spanish law) in Switzerland to join a fast‑paced international tech environment. In this role you will act as a strategic legal advisor across platform regulation, e‑commerce, consumer protection, commercial agreements, and regulatory compliance, working closely with operational, product, and public‑affairs teams to enable business expansion and innovation.
Accountabilities
- Provide strategic legal advice to business and operational teams on platform regulation, e‑commerce, transportation law, consumer protection, and digital services.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, partnership agreements, marketing contracts, and licensing arrangements.
- Manage pre‑litigation and litigation matters, coordinating with external counsel and internal stakeholders.
- Support regulatory interactions by collaborating with internal teams and assisting in responses to governmental or regulatory inquiries across multiple jurisdictions.
- Ensure business activities remain compliant with applicable French, Spanish, and European legal frameworks while supporting scalable growth.
- Develop practical, business‑oriented legal solutions that balance risk management with operational objectives.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, legal project management, and implementation of efficient legal workflows.
- Build strong relationships with cross‑functional teams and provide clear, actionable legal guidance to support strategic decision‑making.
Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of experience as a qualified lawyer within an EU jurisdiction, either in‑house or in private practice, ideally within technology‑driven or high‑growth companies.
- Strong expertise in French law and proven knowledge of Spanish law, with ability to work across multiple European jurisdictions.
- Solid experience in commercial contracts, e‑commerce, platform regulation, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance matters.
- Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment skills with strong attention to detail.
- Business‑oriented mindset with ability to provide pragmatic and solution‑driven advice in dynamic environments.
- Experience managing complex legal projects and coordinating multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong autonomy, initiative, and adaptability, with ability to quickly learn new legal topics and operational processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative and humble approach.
- Full professional proficiency in French and English, with strong command of Spanish.
- Experience within the transportation, mobility, or digital platform sector considered a plus.
