Join WSP's Legal Affairs team as a Legal Counsel, supporting key infrastructure and energy projects throughout Canada. Your expertise will shape legal strategies while mitigating risks and guiding contract negotiations. As a member in good standing of a Canadian provincial Bar with three years of experience, you will advise on commercial matters, actively participate in bid processes, and collaborate with Claims & Litigation teams on disputes.
Strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills are crucial to navigate complex legal landscapes while working with diverse stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Provide legal support for complex negotiations and contracts • Deliver advice to project teams during entire project lifecycle • Draft, review, and interpret legal documents • Support bid processes and client proposal development • Present risk assessments to internal committees Requirements: • Active member of a Canadian Bar with at least 3 years’ experience • Experience in commercial agreements within construction and engineering • Strong risk management understanding • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities • Bilingualism in French and English is a plus Utilize your legal acumen to influence infrastructure projects that make a difference. #J-18808-Ljbffr
