We’re looking for a Level 1 Helpdesk Technician based in the Calgary area who thrives in a client-facing role and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
Important: Location & Work Environment This is a remote-first role , however: Candidates must reside in the Calgary, AB area You must be available for occasional on-site client visits and team collaboration A dedicated, professional home office environment is required (quiet, reliable internet) What You’ll Do Respond to client requests via phone, email, chat, and ticketing system Troubleshoot Windows-based desktops, laptops, and common business applications Provide remote support for Microsoft 365 environments Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership of tickets Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates Participate in an on-call rotation What We’re Looking For Core Requirements Based in the Calgary, AB area (required) Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows 10/11 environments Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) preferred Post-secondary education in IT or equivalent practical experience Communication & Client Experience Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills Ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users Comfortable handling live client interactions (phone/video support) Strong customer service mindset with professionalism under pressure Nice to Have (Highly Preferred) Previous experience working at a Managed Services Provider (MSP) Exposure to multi-client environments and ticket-driven workflows Experience with RMM tools and PSA systems What Sets You Apart You’re detail-oriented and accountable You communicate clearly and confidently with clients You stay calm and structured in fast-paced environments You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
