Leveraged Finance Lawyer - Interim Consultant

Altern8 Legal is looking to speak with experienced leveraged finance lawyers about a potential senior interim engagement with a major international law firm in London.

The firm is looking for somebody to provide additional capacity within its finance team for an initial 6 months or more.

The opportunity

We are particularly interested in lawyers around the 5-8 PQE level, with significant experience across leveraged and acquisition finance and other complex debt transactions, ideally gained within a leading UK, US, or international law firm.

The work is expected to involve a mixture of sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing matters, potentially including acquisition finance, refinancings, restructurings, and private equity-backed transactions.

You should be comfortable working directly with senior lawyers and clients, operating autonomously, and remaining hands-on with transaction execution.

The engagement

• Duration: Initially 6 months+, with potential to extend
• Commitment: Ideally 4-5 days per week
• Location: London, hybrid with approximately 2-3 days per week in the office likely
