- Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, and lab tests within scope of certification.
- Assist physicians during examinations, including taking vital signs and preparing patients.
- Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and organized.
- Requisition supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle patient communication, including phone calls and providing instructions.
- Assist with maintaining accurate medical records, referrals, and documentation.
- Support patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure comfort and care.
- Collaborate with team members, demonstrating flexibility and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow all protocols and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Valid BLS (AHA) certification
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
- Prior clinical or patient care experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
