Machine Operator – Delaware, OH

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overtime: Saturdays, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM as needed
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient and accurate operation
• Set up machines according to production specifications and work orders
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manufacturing instructions
• Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to assemble and fabricate products
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices
• Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain production quality and efficiency
• Troubleshoot minor equipment and production issues
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders
• Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring instruments
• Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to regularly lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 30 lbs. overhead
• Comfortable handling large, awkward-sized materials, including panels up to 125" long and 60" wide
• Lean manufacturing knowledge is a plus

Work Environment

This position is located in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, and temperatures can become hot during warmer months. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
