The Machine Shop Supervisor plays a key role in leading production teams, maintaining workflow efficiency, supporting quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a high-precision medical manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands CNC machining, production flow, and how to build strong manufacturing teams.

The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Supervise machining department personnel and 2-4 Team Leads Coordinate production schedules, priorities, and workflow Support daily machining operations to ensure quality and on-time delivery Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management activities Monitor department KPIs and implement corrective actions when needed Support MRB processes and daily production reviews Troubleshoot downtime and escalate technical issues as required Lead Kaizen events and Lean manufacturing initiatives Develop and maintain standard work procedures Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and quality system requirements Promote a strong safety culture and enforce PPE/safety standards Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements Machines, Controls & Manufacturing Environment You'll support machining operations involving: Machines: CNC screw machines and precision machining equipment

Manufacturing Environment: Medical device machining and assembly support

Production Systems: ERP and production scheduling systems
