Maintenance Engineer - North Antrim Coast - Permanent Key Details: £Market leading salary & benefits package Monday - Friday Company pension scheme Private Healthcare Riada Resourcing is working in partnership with a a global manufacturer seeking to recruit a highly skilled Maintenance Reliability Engineer to join its Engineering function. This is a key technical and leadership role responsible for ensuring the reliability, integrity, and performance of critical assets across a diverse and fast moving production environment. The Opportunity Working within a large, complex manufacturing environment, including a Top Tier COMAH site, the Maintenance Reliability Engineer will lead asset care, deliver compliance, and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
You will be accountable for the asset integrity programme and provide expert engineering support to enhance safety, quality, production efficiency, and cost performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead maintenance, repairs, asset improvements, and technical problem-solving Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and engineering standards Drive the transition to proactive, condition-based maintenance strategies Conduct root cause analysis to improve reliability and reduce downtime Manage predictive maintenance and non-destructive testing programmes Analyse asset performance and maintenance costs to support improvement initiatives Coach teams in TPM principles and maintenance best practices Lead cross-functional problem-solving to eliminate recurring failures Develop and manage asset care plans and PPM schedules using SAP Maintain accurate records in line with safety, quality, and environmental standards Deliver technical solutions to enhance manufacturing performance and efficiency Support training, development, and continuous improvement across engineering and operations teams Criteria: Degree in a relevant engineering discipline Minimum 4 years' field and maintenance reliability engineering experience Skilled in problem solving techniques (5 Whys, RCPS) Knowledge of TPM/Lean tools and reliability maintenance methodologies Ability to interpret engineering manuals and drawings Strong diagnostic and complex machinery repair skills Excellent organisational, time management, leadership, and decision making abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance standards Working knowledge of Health & Safety and PPM systems Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
