Maintenance Technician

The Role & What You Will Be Doing

Responsible for the set up and maintenance of Viatris (Mylan Teoranta) automated vial and syringe filling equipment as well as the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and utilities. The position supports the company’s maintenance maturity continuum to achieve operational excellence.

• Setup, planned maintenance and troubleshooting of automated vial and syringe filling equipment.
• Maintenance of equipment and utilities, documenting all work to GMP standards.
• Manage external contractors during equipment installations and planned service visits.
• Manage spare parts, consumables, and services to keep equipment schedules compliant.
• Develop, implement, and promote a Reliability‑Centred Maintenance (RCM) strategy using FMECA/FMEA assessments in collaboration with the engineering and production teams.
• Support creation and modification of documentation for maintenance and calibration activities (PM, data sheets, work instructions, troubleshooting guides).
• Support compliance with Safety Events, Quality Events, CAPAs, change management, and investigations; assist in resolving electrical and mechanical issues.
• Ensure maintenance routines, procedures, and work plans meet cGMP and EHS regulations.
• Comply with cGMP and EHS requirements from local, global, and regulatory perspectives.
• Flexibility required for overtime, shift coverage, on‑call, and other duties as assigned.

About Your Skills & Experience

• Minimum of a certification in electrical or mechanical engineering and proven relevant experience (education can be considered).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Conflict management and negotiation abilities.
• Structured decision‑making skills.
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PM systems).
• Report preparation and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously.
• Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret general business documents and compile technical reports.
• Physical requirements: standing, walking, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing steps, lifting or maneuvering boxes, medium‑heavy lifting, and use of PPE.
