Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position will succeed in this role if they have both knowledge and technical depth about the company and the industry. This is essential as they will be a central person in the decision making process, working with multiple individuals across different teams when necessary. As a result, they will also be overseeing specific personnel.
ResponsibilitiesJob DescriptionAssist the Operations Director with administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties.Coordination of operations and planning of events, Director/manager.Following the Compliance of Operations defined by the organisation.Source vendors, negotiate contracts, and nurture relationships with venues and contractors. Co-Ordination with Event teams, sales, marketing, and other departments to guarantee complete informationCo-ordination and planning for overall all exhibition services - from transport, housekeeping, catering to security - ensuring flawless execution.Co-ordination with the design team for floor plan, graphics, and special structure.Co-ordination with the venue for overall show requirements and adherence to venue rules and restrictions.Agency Tie-ups Planning / Co-ordination for Security/ Housekeeping/ Safety /Permissions/ Manpower/ Insurance/Communication PA System, Intercom, Internet kiosks/ Transport/ Catering/ Additional Facilities & Amenities/ Appointment of a reputed Clearing & Forwarding Agent/Electricity Planning/Co-ordination for Power requirement & GeneratorsBe actively involved in the build-up, open days, and breakdown of the exhibitionsPost-show analysis: Analyse past events and implement insights for continuous improvement.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Strong leadership skills
