Manager Tax Accounting (Hiring Immediately)

Industry: Hospitals and Health Care Are you passionate about driving tax excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic guidance that supports business success? We are looking for an experienced tax professional to lead tax operations, oversee compliance activities, and provide expert advice on complex tax matters. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing tax strategies, managing reporting and filing requirements, supporting audits, and ensuring adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations. You will also play a key role in advising leadership on tax implications, managing relationships with external advisors, and developing a high-performing tax team. Responsibilities Lead and oversee the work of a team of tax professionals across multiple areas of taxation.

Review and approve tax returns, regulatory filings, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Provide support on tax compliance, planning, research, and advisory matters. Manage tax accounting processes, including provision calculations, documentation, and reporting requirements.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support reviews, audits, and compliance activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather required information and ensure timely completion of tax deliverables. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their potential impact on business operations.

Maintain effective relationships with external consultants, advisors, and regulatory authorities as needed. Serve as a subject matter expert on tax-related matters and provide guidance to leadership and business partners. Support departmental initiatives, provide backup assistance when required, and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Lead, mentor, evaluate, and develop team members to drive performance, consistency, and compliance excellence. Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
