MandatePlan, manage and execute strategic plan to drive Treasury & Payments Solutions growth for clients across market structure and asset wealth manager sectors.Attract, lead, develop, coach and manage a team of Treasury & Payment Solutions leaders across North America.Create alignment within Global Transaction Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking as well as Global Markets teams on the importance of Treasury & Payment Solutions including cash management, corporate cards and liquidity.Act as a liaison for Capital Markets with the TPS Product and Corporate Treasury team to provide feedback to identify product opportunities and gaps, drive innovation as well as provide insight into the competitive market.This Leader WillShape the transformation agenda in Global Transaction and Corporate Banking in an important period of change to enable continued growth of the Treasury & Payment Solutions business, focusing on cash management, corporate cards and deposit growth.Elevate the Treasury & Payment Solutions team to effectively market complex cash management, corporate card and liquidity solution to clients.Deepen relationships with clients leveraging internal partners/stakeholders.Add valuable Treasury & Payments Solutions leadership and industry expertise.Key Accountabilities Business Delivery and Operational EffectivenessCollaborate with key partners in Global Transaction Banking and Corporate and Investment as well as Global Markets Bankers, TPS Product and Corporate Treasury to drive execution of strategies and tactical plans, generate ideas, identify client solutions, pursue sector coverage efforts and deliver timely solutions.Enable the team to provide high levels of expertise for cash management, corporate cards and liquidity products to Corporate clients across Financial Institution Industries.Client and Relationship ManagementEnsures the delivery of exemplary client service and loyalty including client advocacy for Financial Institutions and Corporate clients.Identifies and lead sustained coverage activity including cross-sell activities resulting in increased share of wallet, new opportunities and increase market share.Manage the full‑stack of interdependent client relationships across equity/financial sponsors, limited partners, fund structures, and portfolio company including sourcing, management, and placement of entities with appropriate coverage teams.Achieves results in a professional, ethical and conscientious manner consistent with the risk policies and practices of the Bank.Managerial LeadershipLead complex assignments and coverage responsibilities and provide guidance to the team.Identify gaps, issues, and best practices through monitoring banker/team performance targets and development plans.Build a high‑performance winning culture within and across Global Transaction and Corporate Banking teams by establishing and maintaining effective managerial practices.Maintain a future‑oriented focus, possess organizational, industry and competitive knowledge, and effect business results through innovative practices.Qualifications10+ years of relevant experience and post‑secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Deep experience in Treasury & Payment Solutions, Corporate and/or Investment Banking, negotiating and structuring cash management, corporate cards and liquidity transactions.Experience in managing senior level relationships with broker‑dealers, equity/financial sponsors, fund structures, portfolio companies, asset wealth managers, and pension fund managers.Proven track record in managerial leadership as well as client and relationship management with demonstrated ability to plan, manage, execute and hold team accountable.Salary and CompensationBase Salary: $225,000 to $275,000Salary range: $150,700 to $261,800Pay Type: SalariedAdditional compensation may include commissions, performance‑based incentives, discretionary bonuses and other perks.Benefits include health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.Equal Employment Opportunity BMO is proud to be an equal employment opportunity employer.
